Cashier / Sales Representative - Belmopan
Responsibilities
· Customer Service – assist walk-in customers.
· Reconciliation of cash register.
· Totals price and tax on products purchased by customers.
· Answers customer's questions.
· Receive telephone requests for price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, adjustments, and cancellations directly from customers.
· Assist in setting up advertising displays/arrange products on counters or tables to promote sales.
· Ensure the price labels are on products.
· Be willing to complete an entry-level IT certification course.
· Contributes to sales team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
· High School diploma, in a business-related field and/or relevant experience.
· Knowledge of POS systems and equipment, credit card terminals, checks, and refunds.
Skills & experience
· Well-versed in performing monetary transactions.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills; must exercise tact and courtesy.
· Multi-tasking ability and scheduling ability.
· Critical thinking skills.
· Attention to detail.
· Must be highly dedicated and motivated.
· Must be willing to work flexible hours.
· Willing to complete courses to enhance knowledge, skills, and experience in the position.
· Bi-lingual (is an asset)
